Hedgehog post

Hedgehogs are a pretty rare animal, but you bet they are cute and full of interesting ancestors. A hedgehog is both a predator, to garden pests, meaning bugs and insects, but is also a prey to birds, especially eagles and owls. They are related to the shrew family, and to a pretty new species called tenrecs and the moonrat. When these spiky-haired creatures are scared, they roll into a spiky ball, which is their defense system.

They can also be used for pets.

Here is a Pets 101 episode about hedgehogs. Enjoy.
