Want to burn more calories? Head for the park

The U.S  Forest Service found out that walks to the national parks burn down many calories. Hiking, biking, hunting or even skiing on  them makes your calories decrease. On one of these hikes adults spend 264 billion calories and children under 16 spend 26 billion calories. This is really good for your human body because it throws out the bad parts in your body. 290 billion calories is like a row of french fries from earth to the moon and back, twice. Imagine, getting rid of this many calories only by taking a walk in a national park.

For me this is very nice because I walk a lot in the countryside, and now I know for sure that I am wasting a bunch of bad stuff from my body and that I am keeping fit. This is amazing because it's quite unbelievable to imagine that much junk going away from you. This is amazing foundation, and it's good news.

I found this on  http://news.discovery.com/adventure/outdoor-exercise-burns-calories-110921.html, and it was published on September 21 by Emily Sohn.
